Dear Mr. Bishop
My name is Kendra Kim, I live in Fort Dodge Iowa, a couple blocks away from the Art Museum. I’m writing this letter to you because I don’t know what else to do. A few weeks ago my sister started dating this guy, his name is Arman Peterson. I never trusted him, he would always come into our home smelling weird, almost like old clothes or one of those really old furniture stores. He would always ask for warm water with some sugar in it. I don’t know where my sister met him or even why they started dating. I would ask her but she would just get mad at me and tell me to mind my business. She never really had a good choice in men so I would try to help her but she would always get mad at me when things didn’t work out. Anyways, I never liked this guys Arman but she swore by him, saying that hes the one and that they were going to get married. I told her she needed to take her time but she was insistent, like really really insistent. When I would say its too early she would get so mad at me and it was scaring me. I went to the cops and asked them to watch the guy and that I was scared that he was like manipulating her you know? But they wouldn’t listen and said there was nothing they could do without proof. Always fucking proof. I told them that something was going to happen to her if they didn’t help, then they started accusing me and thinking that I was up to something. It was so frustrating.
A couple weeks ago I called my sister and she never returned the call. I thought that was super weird because she always returns my calls or at least texts me back immediately. So I called again and Arman picked up and when I asked him where my sister was he said he didn’t know. When I asked why he has her phone he just asked me where we both grew up. I told him Fort Dodge and he laughed and hung up.
She was missing for three days after that. I filed a police report and everything and they started checking into it but were looking at me first. I was so mad but they just kept looking into me. Then after a couple days she came back, just walked in through the front door. But something was really off. She didn’t talk the same, didn’t walk the same, it was like she was a completely different person. I remember asking what happened and she said that her and Arman got into a fight and they broke up so she needed some time. When I asked her why she didn’t call back she just got mad at me and went to her room. She was in there for two whole days and only left to use the bathroom. I tried to speak to her both times but she didn’t even fucking look at me. Then, a couple nights ago she knocks on my door and asks me to go to the store to buy some more sugar for her water.
That thing is not my sister. That’s Arman, and he’s wearing her. I don’t know where else to go but he’s been reading through our mail so if you reply to this, send it to the museum. I work in the mail room there, I’ll see it. Just DON'T send it to my house. And DON'T tell the police, I don’t want Arman knowing I contacted them.

This letter has been left unredacted and unedited for filing purposes.
Appropriate agents have been sent to investigate the disappearance of Lorisa Kim and Arman Peterson. This is an ongoing matter.
