My name is Sara Zidan, I’m a med student at Richmary’s University and I would like to report my side of the incident that occurred June 7th. Saturday night I was out celebrating with two of my friends, Darling Hale and Emmett Huxley. We were celebrating Emmett’s birthday at Camille’s, the Italian restaurant just a couple blocks from Richmary. We each had a handful of beers but nothing to where any of us were really drunk, just enough for a buzz. No other substances were used and I can say confidently I was of full mind and body at the time of the incident.

We were discussing plans to go to Toronto later that summer to go to a music festival that was being held there. I can admit we may have gotten a little loud at times but nothing to where we would be a disturbance to those around us. We kept to the sound of the restaurant and didn’t exceed it. We were talking about the flight tickets and how much they would cost. Now mind you we didn’t know anyone else in the restaurant, most of them were other students but it’s a large school and we didn’t know any of them. I had made a remark as to how expensive they were and when I said that, Darling had replied to me loudly by saying “god damn!” She said it jokingly but when she said it everyone in the restaurant just stopped and all stood straight up. It was really scary and I had never seen something like that before. Everyone was talking and loud one moment and then dead silent the next. Then they all turned and looked at us, even people at the other side of the restaurant stopped and even the staff turned to stare.

I knew Darling and Emmett were both scared but we didn’t know what to do. So Darling stood up and started to apologize to everyone but then this man walked in the door. He was this taller elf, kinda darker skin, pretty tall. He walked in and was not like anyone else in the restaurant. He could move where everyone else was like a statue still staring at us. He walked over and took off his hat, when he did I saw his face and everything above his lower lip was made of gold. His skin, his eyes, his hair, all of it was shining gold. It was beautiful but I was horrified. Darling and Emmett didn’t say a word; they just sat there staring at the man.

He asked us if he could sit next to us and we didn’t even say anything, we just kind of nodded our heads. He sat down and when he did, all the others around him sat but continued staring at us. He said he was from some sort of church and that all of the people around us were from the same. He said that they were accepting new members and wanted to know if we wanted to join. It was Emmett who said no first politely, which made the man smile. He said he insisted, and that it would be good for our health because he couldn’t guarantee our safety. Darling started crying but started to panic when she started to cry gold. I wanted to get up and run but it was like something was pinning me down. The man then looked at Emmett and whispered something which made Emmett start to scream. He screamed so loud for minutes until his voice gave out and he started choking. Then he looked at the man and his eyes started changing. It was like they were burning and finally became like pearls. Darling looked at me and told me she was scared and when she tried to get up and run, all of the people in the restaurant grabbed her and dragged her outside.

The man and Emmett got up from their seats and both turned to look at me. He said “there must always be a speaker of the truth” to me, then winked and put his hat back on. Emmett left with him and all the people at the restaurant walked out with them. I just sat alone crying for minutes until this guy walked in. He had a gun and asked me where they went. I pointed and he told me not to move. Then more guys in suits came. Then that’s when you guys came and took me away.
